Which Cisco IP phones are supported on the MCLink?
Supported models include: 7940/7940G and 7960/7960G. Other 79xx phones are supported on a limited basis.

Does Cisco phones require Mitel SIP line licenses?
To use your Cisco phones with the Mitel 3300, you will need Mitel SIP line licenses. The MCLink also has its own licensing on a per SIP line basis. IE: 1 extension = 1 SIP line.

Can I keep my Call Manager while migrating?
Yes you can. With MCLink you can migrate the Cisco sets progressively from the Call Manager to the Mitel 3300 ICP and even proceed to roll-back if required.

How many MCLink servers do I need?
You will need one MCLink server per Mitel 3300 ICP.

Can MCLink run on a virtual machine?
Yes, contact NetVitesse for a list of compatible virtualization software.

Does MCLink come on a server?
Yes, the MCLink system is shipped preconfigured on a dedicated 1-U, rack mountable SUN server, for simple installation. Demo or the complete solution itself can perfectly be installed on a VM-ware or a server of your choice.

How is MCLink accessed?
MCLink has a complete web interface, allowing it to be accessed through any mainstream browser on the local network or Internet, depending on how MCLink is configured. Users of MCLink have to be approved by the system administrator to obtain a username and password to gain access to MCLink.
