At NetVitesse, our goal is to deliver turn-key communication solutions that work for you. If the standard product offering is not sufficient to meet your needs, we can work with you to customize our products to suit your unique situation or infrastructure.Pro-services work can include a customization of a product, creation of new features, a unique configuration of a standard component, or integration with an existing system or device. If you are interested in learning more, please contact us to discuss. At the highest level, our pro-services team will walk you through the following process:

 

1. Introductory discussion

      You will have the chance to speak with a NetVitesse representative about your current situation, ask questions about the solutions we offer, and discuss whether custom development is the right solution for you. This consultation is complimentary, and we would be happy provide an informal solutions proposal as a follow-up to this consultation.

2. Formalization (Non-Disclosure)

      If the results of the introductory meeting are positive, it is sometimes necessary to enter into a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This agreement protects your business or organization's private data, and establishes a level of trust between the pro-services team and your domain experts.

3. Requirements Elicitation

      The NetVitesse pro-services team will work with you to formally develop the requirements of your solution. This document provides you with a detailed description of what will be built, and will become an important part of the pro-services contract.

4. Pricing Discussion

      In-time with the requirements elicitation process, the NetVitesse pro-services team will structure a pricing quote for the complete pro-services work. This quote will reflect the development work described in the requirements document, as well as the delivery plan and schedule.

5. Agreement

      If the solution and price are both right, we now formalize an agreement to have the work completed as per the discussed schedule. This contract will likely include the formal requirements document, bill of materials, labour rates, delivery dates, implementation plans, installation plans, and other items on a case-by-case basis.

6. The Development Effort

      After signing a formal agreement, the pro-services team will design and build the custom solution that was so meticulously defined. During this process, it is likely that you work with the pro-services department to ensure the development is taking shape as you expected.

7. Delivery

      As development nears its end, you and the pro-services department will work together to co-ordinate deliver. In some cases, this is as simple as a software upgrade. In other cases, a NetVitesse representative may be required on-site. In either case, we will work to ensure you receive what you need when you need it.

8. Service and Support

      The work done by our pro-services team can be included under your NetVitesse service and support contract. This ensures that if you experience any difficulties with your customizations, you will have the full support of the pro-services team.
